Georgetown Kentucky Festival of the Horse 2007

Located just north of Lexington Kentucky, the Georgetown Kentucky Festival of the Horse is this weekend in Georgetown Kentucky. It will open Thursday October 4th and run through Sunday October 7 2007.
Events are as follows:
Thursday October 4
6-8 pm Fireman’s Chili Cookoff
Friday October 5
12-10 pm Carnival, food booths, crafts, and various display booths will be open.
4-6 pm Kati Penn
6 pm Tennis Tournament
6:30- 7:30 pm Colt and Filly Review Parade
8-10 pm Elvis and Friends with Bill Kelly
Saturday October 6
8 am Tennis Tournament
8:30 am Kentucky Horse Farms Tour - departure downtown
9 am Horse Games at Brooking Park
9 am 5k run/walk
9 am 1.5 mile family fun walk
10 am - 5 pm Experience the Horse at Brooking Park
10 am Carnival, food booths, crafts, and various display booths will be open.
10:30 am Fastest Kid in Town
11 am - 12:30 pm Jazmine Brooke and Clearwater
11 am - 3 pm Literary Festival of the Horse
1 - 2:30 pm Driving Rain
3:30 pm - 5 pm The Eric Cummins Band
6-7:30 pm - Toyota Grand Prix of Horses
6:45 - 8 pm Big Jim Slade
8:15 - 10:15 pm Angie Aparo
Sunday October 7
8 am Tennis Tournament
11 am Carnival, food booths, crafts, and various display booths will be open.
1:30 pm Horse show
2 pm Blessing of the Animals
3:30 pm Pet Parade
Come on out and enjoy the Kentucky Festival of the Horse in Georgetown Kentucky this weekend. You won’t want to miss it! To get here from Lexington Kentucky, just head north on I-75 until you get to Georgetown.
