Half Brother of Pulpit Friar to Enter Stud

Kentucky FarmsAccording to Thoroughbred Times, the half brother of Pulpit, Friar, is to enter stud after the first of the year in 2008.  Friar has 2 wins out of 20 starts in his 3 year racing career.  He also scored 8 2nd place, and 4 3rd place finishes – putting him in the money 14 out of 20 times.  His total earnings of over $126,000.

Friar was bred in Kentucky at Clairborne Farm – who were initial persons to compete Friar.  Friar was claimed at a race by Debra Devitto on August 26.  Debra Devitto has acted as trainer on behalf of Michael Devitto and John Lemmens.

His stud fee is expected to be $3,500 at Morning Sun Farms in Springfield Center New York.
