Kentucky State Fair 2007 in Louisville KY

Reminder for everyone, the Kentucky State Fair is going on right now in Louisville KY.
You may have been to other fairs – but the one in Louisville KY is NOT to be missed. It fills the entire fairgrounds – inside and out. They have different animals out there on different days.
The World Championship Horse Show is August 19-25, 2007. Competition categories include saddle seat equitation, saddlebreds, road ponies, roadsters, and hackney ponies.
And even horses and farm life isn’t your thing – you got to go check out the food! Sure, you have your standard fare of corn dogs, cotton candy, funnel cakes, elephant ears, etc – but you also need to try out the Producer’s Tent. Some things I recommend are the Fried Country Ham sandwich, Trout Sandwich, Grilled Cheese, and BBQ.
Make it a point to attend – and you won’t be disappointed.
