Operation Drive Smart - Additional patrols for US 60

If you regularly drive on Shelbyville Road aka US 60, you better ensure that you are driving legally. Additional police patrols are scheduled for this next week and they will be looking for speeders, and seat belts being utilized as their primary concern.
The Kentucky State Police feel that too many accidents occur between Louisville and Shelbyville along U.S. 60, and as such they are stepping up their efforts to make drivers aware of the limits and following applicable laws.
So, buckle up, drive the speed limit and take I-64 instead. (just kidding!) Seriously though - be aware of your driving behavior, keep yourself & others safe, and avoid getting a ticket!
