Shelbyville Kentucky Farmers Market

The Shelbyville Kentucky Farmers Market is at the Shelby County Fairgrounds on U.S. 60. Its open on Saturdays from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Lots of good homemade goods and products can be had there.
My personal recommendations, theres a person that sells some very good homemade salsa that just can’t be beat by off the shelf store bought. And another person sells all sorts of cakes and breads in various sizes, and types. I personally like the pumpkin bread.
If you are interested in produce, most any locally grown produce you can think of can be found there for sale. Everything from okra to fresh Silver Queen corn.
I would imagine we’ll start seeing some pumpkins for sale there before too long since Halloween is a little over a month away. So I’m sure you can pick up a pumpkin for making pies, cakes or even a Jack O’Lantern.
