Shelbyville Kentucky Farms
Posted on June 20, 2007
We finally got some long needed rain today. Crops were withering pretty good. So, I’m sure it was quite welcome to everyone in the local Shelby County and Oldham County farm communities. We didn’t get a heck of a lot of rain, but every little bit counts.
The horses had been going to the pond we have out back and just kept looking back at us like we should fill it up since it was getting down so low. They seemed to be asking “What kind of equestrian farm is this???”. I’ll fill their water trough – but I’m definately not attempting to fill up a pond!
The local real estate market appears to be making a gradual shift from a buyer’s market. It’s still a buyer’s market – but at least some things are starting to break free for houses and properties.
