Kentucky Cutting Horse Association Arena A new Shelbyville KY horse arena is now open on Dover Road. This arena was constructed by Kellie & Mike McIntosh with Rocky Fork Feeds, LLC for use by the Kentucky Cutting Horse Association. This new arena will be utilized instead of the Shelby County Fairgrounds where they previously held their venues. Some of the highlights of this new horse arena include 33,000 sq.ft. for stalls and 35,000 sq.ft. for the actual show arena itself. 37 water/power outlets are available as well as Men & Women showers and bathroom facilities. The Kentucky Cutting Horse Association will be holding a show at the arena on November 8-9, 2008. For more information, please call 740-404-0564.

Despite some initial concerns over noise and traffic, it appears that the project is being well received by most persons. Investing in the horse industry in Shelby County KY is an important part of the ongoing equestrian community and helps ensures that Shelbyville and Kentucky will remain industry leaders for equine businesses and interests.
