Shelbyville KY Weather
Posted on August 25, 2007
We finally have some moderate relief from the extreme hot weather in Shelbyville KY. Its only getting to 90 today as opposed to the near 100 temperatures we have been facing. And its been relatively low humidity. So those 2 factors have brought relative comfort compared to what we have been facing over the past few weeks.
We are still abnormally dry – and could use some good soaking rain showers for a few hours.
Forecasts show a cold front moving in on Thursday, with a chance for rain (which is sorely needed!) – followed by much cooler temperatures this weekend. Forecasts show highs of 80 with lows in the low 60s. PERFECT weather – and I’m looking forward to it.
Many farmers are harvesting their corn/tobacco in the area – so it looks the end of the season is approaching.
I can’t wait for Fall – one of my favorite times of the year!
