Simpsonville Kentucky Businesses Doing Well

Simpsonville Kentucky BusinessesIn The Sentinel-News newspaper, there was a good article about Simpsonville Kentucky businesses thriving and doing well.  They feel this can be primarily attributed to the fairly strong local hometown economy, as well as the local residents of the area supporting them.

Some of the business highlighted in the article were as follows:

Simponsville Automotive - they recently relocated and expanded their business to the former Simpsonville firehouse.

DQ (Dairy Queen) & Wendys - both are fairly recent additions to the community and appear to be doing very well.

Purnell’s Sausage Company - (Just a personal note:  The propane tank that sits in front of their facility is painted to look like one of their sausage packages.  It has the blue and white stripes on each end, as well as their famous logo of a pig in the center.  It looks just like the real thing you would find in the local grocery store - and its one of my FAVORITE things.  I think its great, and I wouldn’t mind having one of those decorate up like that myself on our horse farm.)

Old Stone Inn

Commonwealth Bank

Citizen’s Union Bank (CUB)

And many others.

Interestingly enough, there is approximately 1 business for every 50 people in Simpsonville Kentucky.  Thats tremendous given the success that most seem to be enjoying, so it doesn’t appear that there is over saturation at this point.

Data like that indicates a strong economy, and and effort to shop locally made by the various residents in the community to ensure that those business thrive.
