The Terry Wright Dressage Clinic was such a success, that there are plans to do another clinic November 16-18 2007 in Simpsonsville KY. It is expected to be another 3 day clinic focusing on balance - and more particularly understanding the information that your horse is trying to communicate to you. They communicate very little verbally, so you have to notice their body language. How are they holding their head? How have their muscles developed - this would indicate which muscles they were using the most, and that would tell you how they are moving? Is their back irregular? Is a leg trailing when they are moving? Are they heavy on the forehand? How are their hooves wearing? Are they burning through horse shoes?
The list goes on and on. You have to be able to see what your horse is trying to tell you. Once you have your horse in balance, you will notice a huge improvement in your riding, and your horse’s enjoyment.
